thoughts on Revelation

I heard a very interesting theory about something from Revelation. It was from my teacher of my Eschatology class.

He says that "the nations", as described in Revelation 21.4 and 22.2 might be the poeple who couldn't comprehend (ie...miscarried or aborted babies, or mentally handicapped people).

Revelation 21.4"The nations will walk by its light, and the kings of the eart will bering their splendor into it."
Revelation 22.2"down the middle of the great street of the city. On each side of the river stood the tree of life, bearing twelve crops of fruit, yeilding it's fruit every month. And the leaves of the tree are for the healing of the nations."

We will be in the new Jerusalem and the unbelievers will be in the lake of fire. Our teacher says that God wouldn't creat a new people who couldn't accept him at all. Also technically, the names of kids who died too young to understand, won't be written in the Lamb's Book of Life. however, that seems a bit unfair.

So, I just wanted to know what your thoughts on the matter were...

I can always ask Hank Hannagraaf.
